Google has taken its search engine to another level by enabling SSL encryption on their search engine, understanding the basic needs of privacy and security while searching. Previously, Google offered SSL enabled connections on some of its products that include Gmail and Google Docs. Earlier this year, SSL enabled connections were made default for Gmail users.

Google Wave goes Mature: Now Available for Everyone

Google announced the general availability of Google Wave – the real-time communication and collaboration tool as a Google Labs project during Google I/O conference 2010. The over ambitious service was introduced by google at Google I/O Conference last year. Google wave began as an invite-only service with a handful of apps and initial invitations were sent to 100,000 users.

Google Promotes Six, Retires Five Features – Gmail Labs

Google has always tried to improve gmail experience for its users. Gmail labs feature was a step towards the same. It has 60 features, that can be used to enhance gmail experience. Based on user feedback, some features were made a regular part of gmail and some have been removed. Following similar steps, google made an announcement at gmail blog graduating six Gmail Labs features and Retiring five.
