Adobe Air applications, because of their good looking and dynamic interface are easy to use for any internet user. Some of the apps add eye-candy appeal to your desktop! I will introduce you to one such application, “Snackr” that I personally like a lot. Please note; to install Air application in your system, you first need to have Adobe Air installed on your system.

Snacker runs on Adobe Air, a cross platform run-time environment and is therefore available for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. Giving a new style of feed reading, the feeds are picked randomly from your feeds and scroll across your desktop. Built with minimal UI and cool-looking design, Snackr makes your desktop look good with a ticker-like bar running at the top, left, right or bottom of your desktop!

Features of Snackr: The RSS Ticker
As mentioned above, the minimal UI makes it easy to use for anyone. Simply add the feeds you wish to see with Snackr, and immediately the feed headlines(headlines) will appear on the snackr ticker. Clicking on any news will open up the news within the reader for you to read. Some of the other features are:
- Drag the ticker to top, bottom, left or right side of your screen.
- Change ticker speed and opacity.
- Sync Google Reader with Snackr.
