Firefox 4 Beta 1 Silently Released [Download Now]

Within a few days of adding crash protection to Firefox 3.6.4(3.6.6) in a security and stability update, Mozilla is ready to roll out the first Beta build of the next major Firefox version – Firefox 4. Currently, the candidate build for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux is available for download on Mozilla’s FTP servers. All this happened silently, without any announcement or release notes posted by Mozilla.

Firefox 4 brings a new user interface with a modern and glassier look, extended HTML 5, improved javascript engine, improved tabs on top, deep aero integration and more but still a lot of work is yet to be done before it is ready for everyone!
