If you ever tried or wished to jailbreak your iDevice, you must be knowing Geohot, the famous iPhone hacker! Developer of the simplest jailbreaking tool “blackra1n“, he has been in the news much because he was the first one to brag announce about his success to find an exploit in iOS 4 on iPhone 4.
The above image is from his blog, posted under the title “meh” along with a few lines of text, boasting describing how he was able to jailbreak his iPhone 4 on the same day it was delivered to him! Read it urself:

As far as a release goes, it probably won’t happen from me. limera1n is little more than a raindrop on a website; it was never mentioned by me previous to this post. pwned4life is a complete invention of some blogger in a basement somewhere. When I said pwned for life, I was referring to the original iPhone, 3G, and Touch; which of course are, by the aptly named PwnageTool.
Again, please don’t ask for release dates. Every person that does makes me want to release a little bit less.
What’s more interesting than the above post are the user comments posted under it. Do read them over here. Most of them trying to tell him to keep his ego aside and do what he is good at. Giving example of iPhone Dev Team and iH8sn0w who have been working hard to bring the jailbreaking tool for iOS 4.0 on iPhone 4, and it is true that whatever they do, happens so silently with dedication!

Those of you who are waiting for iPhone 4 Jailbreak tool to be released soon, do not expect it to happen from Geohot. You might see it coming from Comex’s Userland jailbreak, after apple rolls out the firmware upgrade 4.01/4.0.1 for the much hyped antenna issues!

Geohot is a douchebag. Why bother announcing a jailbreak of you’re not going to release it? He’s bad for the jailbreak community IMO.
Agree with you to some extent! Lets wait for dev team to come up for the jailbreak!
