Google Chrome for Linux and Mac is now officially out of Beta. Google’s Chrome team made an announcement of release of the fastest chrome browser till date, as unveiled on Chrome Blog three weeks ago. The update comes with a host of new features, specially for Linux and Mac users, who have been using an unstable version of the browser till date.
With access to more than 4,500 extension from the extension gallery, full-screen mode support and a life-saving feature of browser preference and bookmark synchronization for the users who access web from various computers, Google has not compromised with security, speed or stability.

Google Chrome 5.0 comes with an integrated Adobe flash player for its windows version. While the team is still working on the similar feature for Linux and Mac users of chrome, and is expected to enable it in the next stable release. HTML5 features like Geolocation API’s, file drag-and-drop, web-socket and App cache have also been incorporated in the browser.
With all the newly added features to the browser, Google Chrome for Mac is expected to give tough competition to Safari, which is the default web browser for Mac. Auto-update of the browser will take place soon, if you are already using it.
