Apple has made the final version of iOS 4.0 available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch users to download via iTunes. You need to have iTunes 9.2(latest version) to download the firmware released. The firmware’s arrival was announced at this year’s WWDC with iPhone 4.
Previously known as iPhone OS, the updated version of Apple’s mobile operating system has over 100 new features. The main features include multi-tasking, ability to group apps into folders, home screen wallpaper, and much more. All features will be available for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users, but for iPhone 3G and iPod touch users multitasking and home screen wallpapers will not be available, unless you really force it out of the iOS 4.0. Similar update for iPad users is expected soon.
Plug in your device to iTunes and update it to the latest firmware!
