Apple has released iOS 4.1 beta for developers as a possible fix for antennae issues related to iPhone 4, but in reality, the firmware upgrade is not enough for to solve the much talked about issue. Anyone who wants to get the antennae issue solved, must have read about such rumors of a possible software fix, and in that case, tried to upgrade to iOS 4.1 beta.

But, there is a good news for those who upgraded to iOS 4.1 beta firmware accidentally. The confirmed information from iPhone Dev Team is that iOS 4.1 beta running on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G non-MC model can be jailbroken using  Redsn0w 0.9.5 beta5 released much before the firmware update.

The latest version released 2 weeks ago, Redsn0w 0.9.5 b5 supports iOS 4.1 on iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G (non-mc models only).

Follow the simple steps:

• To downgrade you iDevice in future, make sure you Backup SHSH blobs.

• Download iOS 4.1 beta developer version from Apple developer center.

• Download redsn0w 0.9.5 beta 5 for Windows | Mac OSX.
