Steve Jobs, speaking at the iPhone 4 Press conference admitted that “smartphones have weaknesses” and alongside this, the antennae woes are not only associated with iPhone 4. Taking example of other phones, showing videos of various other manufacturers with antennae issues.
Steve Jobs made a point that antennae issues aren’t unique, they are associated with the entire smartphone industry and they have to deal with it, to make antennas better. Along with this, he also admitted that Apple knew about the problem 22 days ago, while shipping iPhone 4.
Free Bumper Cases for Every iPhone 4 User
Our assumption of free bumpers or cases to be given to iPhone 4 users was right. Steve Jobs said, “We’re not perfect, and phones aren’t perfect either, but we want to make all of our users happy“. In order to keep their users happy, he announced a free bumper for every iPhone 4 user. For those who have already bought a bumper, Apple will refund the cost. The application forms on Apple’s website will allow iPhone 4 users to choose and apply for bumpers.
In case the users are still not satisfied with iPhone 4, they can return it until 30 September for a full refund!
