TCS Website Hacked! Domain Put For sale

The Official website of TataConsultancy Services Limited, TCS.com was hacked yesterday by some Foreign Hacker. Looks like, the website administrators are still unable to re-claim their website. Or, they are still searching for the cause of hacking?

TCS is the largest provider of IT and Business process outsourcing services in India. It produces softwares and security systems and this incident will be an eye opener for India’s biggest IT company’s web security measures!

The website homepage has something written in french, along with an Email address, which might be of the hacker. The hacker may be from france, as it appears to be, after reading the french language written on the homepage.

As of now, it appears to be a DNS Hijack. The name-servers of tcs.com might have been changed. This incident is similar to Twitter.com being hacked by Iranian Cyber Army few days ago, where the hackers had Defaced the homepage.

For your Information.- Orkut Brazil blog and TechCrunch were also hacked a few days ago. Such incidents bring forward the Loop-holes in security on internet. We suggest everyone to take appropriate security measures to save themselves from falling prey to such attacks.

UPDATE:- TCS.com reclaimed their website today. Waiting for an official word from their side.
