Track Down Energy Usage with Hohm PowerCost Monitor and WiFi Gateway

Microsoft has teamed up with Blue Line Innovations to release Hohm PowerCost Monitor and WiFi Gateway. A device that allows you to examine the real-time data about the energy utilization in your house providing a way to save money and energy spent on various household devices.

The device can be attached to a household power utility meter without any wiring. The WiFi Gateway device updates every 30 seconds, wirelessly transmitting energy usage data to the consumer’s Microsoft Hohm account, providing energy recommendations as well. The data in the form of graphs and charts makes it easy for the users to identify usage patterns and potential problems.
