Ultrasn0w 0.93 is finally been released by iPhone Dev team just an hour after the release of iOS 4. This is a huge news from the unlockers since, ultrasn0w 0.93 is an unlock for all jailbroken iPhones on all basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.
With ultrasn0w 0.93, you can even unlock iPhone 3G & iPhone 3GS on latest baseband 05.13.04 for iOS 4 and baseband 05.12.01 for iPhone OS 3.1.3. Redsn0w is available to jailbreak iOS 4.0 GM, and the jailbreaking tool for final release of iOS 4.0, is expected soon!
Ultrasn0w 0.93 is available via Cydia. The source for the Cydia repo is now: “http://repo666.ultrasn0w.org“.
How to Unlock iPhone 3G/3GS baseband 05.13.04 on iOS4
Follow the step by step guide to unlock iPhone 3G/3GS baseband 04.26.08 on iOS4 with ultrasn0w. Make the following change before the last step.
- Add a new source to Cydia by pressing Edit and adding “http://repo666.ultrasn0w.org” to your Cydia source list.
Cydia will update the sources, this process may take some time.
After the update is over, search and install “ultrasn0w 0.93″ from Cydia. It will unlock your iPhone 3G/3GS on iOS4. Restart your iPhone, and you can use it with any carrier now!
