As announced at Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft has officially released Windows 7 SP1 beta and Windows Server 2008 SP1 beta for public download. Users running the RTM versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 will be able to install the updated versions. Download links for windows 7/server2008 available at the end of the post!

Service Pack 1 does not contain any new features for Windows 7, though there are features to provide improved virtualization with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure in Windows Server 2008 R2.
